Are you fond of strawberry? Do you enjoy eating them in desserts? Here is a wonderful recipe for you and your guests!

Ingredients (6 people)

500 g strawberries

8 egg whites

150 g grated coconut (+ for the decoration)

200 g caster sugar

200 g icing sugar

400 g mascarpone (fresh Italian cheese)

salt

oil

Recipe

  1. Mix the two sugars together (reserve about 60 g)
  2. Roll six egg whites with a pinch of salt, then add the sugars gradually
  3. Whisk for about 5 minutes, until a smooth and shiny meringue
  4. Incorporate coconut
  5. Preheat oven to th5 (150 ° C)
  6. Cover the plate with the cooking paper oven and oil it with a brush
  7. Spread the meringue in a uniform layer and bake for 40 minutes
  8. Remove the meringue from the oven
  9. Allow it to cool, then cut it into two squares (or rectangles) of identical size
  10. If small pieces remain, crush them roughly
  11. Wash, dry and strain strawberries
  12. Cut 400 g into small pieces
  13. Add the remaining egg whites and add the 60 g sugar
  14. Whip the mascarpone
  15. Using a spatula, mix the whites into snow and the mascarpone
  16. Add the strawberry and meringue pieces (if you have them) and mix gently
  17. Place a square of meringue on a serving dish
  18. Cover with strawberry cream
  19. Place over the second square of meringue
  20. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours
  21. About 30 minutes before serving, remove the dessert from the refrigerator
  22. Decorate with coconut and serve with the remaining strawberries
