5 ingenious tricks: So your outfit looks much more expensive than it actually is
Chanel instead of C & A: We show you how cheap looks look really expensive.
Do you have a part in the closet that you are always referred to? And not because it was particularly expensive, but because it “just” looks like this? We tell you why this is so and with which tricks you can make a cheap outfit even more expensive.
1. Invest in a real leather jacket
A black biker jacket made of real leather makes a cheap jeans look a trend style . The leather jacket with slanted zips and rivets is simply a real classic – so no wonder fashion bloggers swear by it.
My personal insider tip: the genuine leather jackets from Mango . They sit like a one, feel wonderfully soft, and still last forever. And best of all, they cost less than 100 Euros (but look like 500 euros).
2. Look at the material
Whether blouse or sweater look cheap or expensive, is mainly due to the material. For sweaters, you should absolutely leave the fingers of pure polyacrylic or polyester, because they look after a few times super cheap. Super expensive looks, for example, the combi from white blouse (naturally best from viscose or linen), a jeans in a dark blue wash and a camelfärbenen trench coat . Alternatively, you can also wear the leather jacket. This understatement look (here from H & M) costs just 135 euros.
4. Retain your jewelry
Less is more – also in jewelry . Too much bling bling makes your outfit look cheap. It is therefore better to use subtle jewelery in a reduced geometric design. By the way: Fashion jewelry in brushed, so matte optics looks much more expensive than glossy-shining jewelery in gold or silver.. Too much bling bling makes your outfit look cheap. 5. Swing the iron
The last trick is suuuuper important! Because no matter what you wear ultimately – it’s not in a shot, it’s cheap! Perfectly ironed garments look directly much more expensive. The motto for a noble look is therefore: ironing, ironing, ironing!
